Effective Self-Defense Striking

Muay Thai is the striking foundation for modern MMA. It teaches you to generate power from any range — long range with kicks, mid-range with punches, and close range with elbows and knees. These are the same techniques used by professional fighters in the UFC and ONE Championship.

Build Functional Strength & Conditioning

A single Muay Thai class is a total-body workout. You'll build explosive power in your legs, stability through your core, and endurance that carries over to every other area of your fitness.

Confidence That Comes from Knowing How to Protect Yourself

Learning how to throw (and defend) strikes properly gives you a calm, grounded confidence. You won't be looking for fights — but you'll know you can handle yourself if you need to.

Taught by Experience

Our instructors include Georgie Staley, who trained in Thailand for three years — one of the few coaches in Southeast Texas with authentic Thai boxing experience.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Muay Thai dangerous?
Our classes are structured and supervised. Beginners focus on technique, pad work, and bag work — not sparring. As you progress, you can opt into controlled sparring with experienced partners.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
You'll need boxing gloves and hand wraps. We sell equipment at our merchandise shop, or you can bring your own.
Can I train Muay Thai and BJJ?
Absolutely — many of our students cross-train. The combination of striking and grappling is exactly how MMA works, and the skills complement each other perfectly.
